Playa Avellanas is a renowned beach, known as one of the best places to surf. This is not a surf spot for beginners, but mostly for intermediate to advanced surfers looking for adrenaline, fun and good waves. It has warm clean water and a sandy bottom with a rock shelf by the south end of the beach. Local vibes are very welcoming!
Casa Amarilla is an easy 10 minutes walk to Playa Avellanas, close to restaurants and 25-30 minutes drive from Tamarindo.This beautiful 3 bedroom home that comes fully equipped for all your needs. It has a master bedroom with a king size bed, a guest room with a bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and twin on top and the other guest room has a bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and twin on top for a total of 8 people. It comes with a complete kitchen area perfect for putting out a great meal or prepping your meal to put on the BBQ grill. It is perfect to get away and have all the conveniences of home.

Summary: just got back from a two week stay at this house, my family and i loved every minute of it. amazing in door and out door space. house is set up perfectly for families , pool is amazing. the little-things like BBQ's every night on the patio, fresh fruit smoothies from blender, filtered water from the fridge, movie night on the big screen, made this place stand out. short walk through the estuary every morning to the beach break on the coast was also a plus. playing at the river mouth was a highlight for the kids. with the corner store across the street for my daily ice-cream fix and all the restaraunts close by you cant beat this location
